We make the cancellation call for you.
An AI calls the gym or subscription company, waits on hold and asks them to cancel. You get the full call recording and a short clip of the company reading back your confirmation.
$9.99for one call, charged only if the company confirms
$29.99Call+Letter: the call plus a certified letter we mail for you
cancelnow.aiHi, I'm an AI assistant calling for your member Dana Reyes. This call is recorded. I'm calling to cancel her membership.
Front deskOkay, that's cancelled. Your confirmation number is RB-40217.
cancelnow.aiThank you. Could you please tell me the date it ends and any final charge?
Front deskIt ends October 31, and the final charge is $0.
Two ways to cancel
A single call is enough for most people. Call+Letter (our Plus plan) adds a certified letter, so you have it in writing too. We save you the trip to the post office, the gas and the wait in line.
| Single call$9.99 | Call+Letter$29.99 | |
|---|---|---|
| Our AI makes the call and waits on hold | Yes | Yes |
| Full call recording and a clip of the company confirming | Yes | Yes |
| Certified letter mailed for you | No | Yes |
| Tracking and electronic return receipt | No | Yes |
| When you pay | Only if the company confirms | $29.99 flat |
A call counts when the company says on the recording that your account is cancelled. Our AI always asks for a confirmation number, the end date and any final charge. With the Plus plan, the letter is what we promise. It goes out by USPS Certified Mail even if the call doesn't get a confirmation, and you get the tracking number and the delivery signature.
How it works
-
You tell us what to cancel
Please add a photo of a bill, membership card or contract, plus your account number and PIN if there is one. You e-sign a short authorization so the company knows we're calling for you.
-
We look up the number
We only call numbers we find ourselves. We never dial a number someone sends us.
-
Our AI makes the call
It tells the company up front that it is an AI and that the call is recorded. It waits on hold, asks to cancel and turns down offers to stay.
-
You get the proof
We send you the full call recording and a trimmed clip of the confirmation, both ready to download. With the Plus plan you also get a copy of your letter, the tracking number and the delivery signature.
How the proof works
Before our caller hangs up, it asks the company to read back three things: the confirmation number, the date the cancellation takes effect and any final charge.
We trim the recording to that part and send you the clip with the date and time of the call, along with the full recording. You can download both. If a company bills you later, you have their own words to show your bank.
What our caller won't do
- Agree to a fee, an upgrade or an offer to stay
- Give out your Social Security number, driver's license number or date of birth
- Answer security questions
- Pretend to be you or pretend to be a person
When we can't help
Some companies ask for your Social Security number, driver's license number, date of birth or the answer to a security question before they will cancel. We don't collect or handle those, so we can't cancel that account for you. An account number and a PIN are fine.
Some gyms say only the member can call, or that you have to come in. When that happens, we tell you what they said. A single call that doesn't work costs you nothing, and with the Plus plan your letter still goes out.
Your details stay with your call
We never collect your Social Security number, driver's license number or date of birth, and our AI never has them.
- Phone numbers
- We call only numbers we look up ourselves.
- Your PIN
- Used on your call only, and only after the company has found your account.
- Photos you send
- Deleted once the cancellation is confirmed.
- Recordings
- You can download the full call and the proof clip. We keep the full call 30 days and the clip 1 year.
- Authorization
- You e-sign it, and you e-sign the letter before we mail it.
Questions
Will the company know it's an AI?
Yes. The first thing our caller says is that it is an AI assistant calling for you and that the call is recorded. If a company won't speak with an AI, we tell you, and a single call costs you nothing.
Do you promise my account gets cancelled?
No. We can't control what a company does. With a single call, you pay only if the company confirms the cancellation on the recording. With the Plus plan, what we promise is the certified letter: we mail it for you and send you the tracking and the delivery receipt.
What do I need to give you?
Your name as it shows on the account, the account or member number, and a PIN if the company uses one. A photo of a bill, membership card or contract helps us match the account. We never collect your Social Security number, driver's license number or date of birth, and we never ask for security-question answers.
What if they try to talk me out of it?
Our caller says no thank you and asks again to cancel. It never accepts an offer, an upgrade or a fee for you. If the company says a fee is owed, we get that on the recording and tell you.
How long does it take?
When the hold is long, we try twice a day for up to 7 days. If the company offers to call back, we take the callback. We let you know when the call is done or if we have to stop.
Where does the letter go?
To the cancellation address in your contract when there is one. If not, the address the company gives on the call, and then the one on its website. Post office boxes are fine. It goes by USPS Certified Mail with an electronic return receipt, and you sign the letter before we send it.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If something isn't right, please ask within 7 days and we will refund you.
Can I order today?
Not yet. We're starting with a small group. Please send a request with the form on this page, and we'll get in touch before anything is charged.
What our AI says when they try to keep you
Companies have plenty of ways to keep you paying. Here are the common ones, and exactly how our AI answers. In these examples the member is called Dana.
Offers to stay
“Please stay. We value your membership, so we'll give you the next 3 months free.”
“Thank you, but Dana has decided to cancel. Please go ahead with the cancellation.” Our AI never accepts free months, and it gives the same short no every time they ask.
“How about 50% off for the next year instead?”
“Thank you, but Dana has decided to cancel. Please go ahead with the cancellation.” Our AI doesn't haggle or counter-offer. Every discount gets the same answer.
“Why not freeze the account for a few months instead?”
“Thank you, but Dana has decided to cancel. Please go ahead with the cancellation.” A freeze, a pause or a hold usually keeps the account open, so our AI turns it down.
“We can move you to our basic plan for just $10 a month.”
“Thank you, but Dana has decided to cancel. Please go ahead with the cancellation.” Our AI never agrees to a downgrade, an upgrade or any other change to the account.
“If you cancel, you'll lose your locked-in rate and you can't get it back.”
“Thank you, but Dana has decided to cancel. Please go ahead with the cancellation.” Our AI doesn't argue or explain. It gives the same short answer.
“Can I ask why you're leaving?”
“Dana has decided to cancel, and I'm not able to share more. Please go ahead with the cancellation.” Your reasons are yours. Our AI keeps it short.
Fees and billing
“There's a $50 cancellation fee. I'll just put that through, okay?”
“No, I don't agree to that charge. I'm not authorized to approve any fees.” If the company says it can't cancel without the fee, our AI ends the call, and we tell you the amount so you can decide.
“I'll take that as a yes.”
“No, I did not agree to that. I'm not authorized to approve any fees.” Our AI never answers a charge with “okay” or “sure”, so nothing on the recording sounds like a yes.
“You have to give 30 days notice, so you'll be billed one more month.”
“I don't agree to any charges. I'm not authorized to approve fees. What will the final charge be, and on what date does the membership end?” Our AI gets the amount and the end date on the recording. If the company won't cancel unless someone accepts the charge, our AI ends the call, and we tell you so you can decide.
Getting through
“The member has to call us personally.”
“I'm Dana's authorized representative. Could you please go ahead with the cancellation on that basis?” If the answer is still no, our AI ends the call politely, and we let you know. A single call that doesn't work costs you nothing.
“Cancellations are in person only.”
“Could you please give me the address and hours, and tell me if a written letter is accepted?” We pass that on to you. With the Plus plan, the certified letter still goes out.
“Are you a robot?”
“Yes, I'm an AI assistant calling for Dana, and this call is recorded.” Then our AI carries on with the cancellation. It never pretends to be a person.
“We don't talk to AI.”
Our AI offers once for you to join the call or call back yourself. If the company still says no, it thanks them and ends the call, and a single call that doesn't work costs you nothing.
“I can't continue on a recorded line.”
“The recording is Dana's record of this cancellation, so I'm not able to turn it off.” If the company still won't go on, our AI ends the call and we let you know.
“Let me transfer you to our retention team.”
Our AI waits through the transfer and the hold music. When someone new picks up, it says again that it's an AI on a recorded call, and it asks again to cancel.
“Our system is down. Please call back later.”
“Thank you. When is a good time to call back?” If the company offers to call back, we take the callback. If not, we call again, up to twice a day for 7 days.
Your details and the proof
“You'll need to call this other number.”
“Thank you. Our team will check the company's contact details on our own.” Our AI never dials a number it's given on a call. We look up the company's number ourselves, so your PIN only goes to the real company.
“To verify, I need the last four digits of the member's Social Security number.”
“I'm not able to provide that. Could you please verify the account with Dana's name, member number and PIN instead?” Our AI never has your Social Security number, date of birth or security-question answers. If the company still needs one of them, our AI ends the call and we let you know.
“Okay, you're all set.”
“Thank you. Could you please confirm that the membership is cancelled, and give me the confirmation number, the end date and any final charge?” A clear yes on the recording is what counts. The number, the date and the charge are extra proof when the company has them.

We're opening to a small group first. Please tell us what you'd like cancelled, and we'll reach out to set it up.
Nothing is charged from this form. Please don't send account numbers or PINs here. We'll ask for those later, in a secure step.
